SITE SPECIFIC LIGHT SCULPTURE PUBLIC PRIVED SPACE
Jardin Esmeralda is one of a kind immersive glass and light sculpture, 260 Meters of floating glass, 1.700 tons of hand crafted glass leaves and feathers.
Inspired by the writings of Humboldt about the landscape of Turbaco Bolivar, a small town located at the northern part of Colombia, near Cartagena.
The aim of this project was to bring a high-quality immersive art experience for a new public that is not regularly engaged with art ; exploring and expanding the concept of creating a work of art with the scale and skill you can find in international museums to a shopping mall.
Art as a medium to inspire the public to have a new way to relate with nature trough beauty.
