MOMENTUM
“origin of an instant in time”
Immersive site specific light and video installation
Venuz White explores through her work the origin of the cosmos as a metaphor for the existence of life. In her artistic exercise, she captures photographic micro moments in which fluids of different colors collide, mingle and expand generating spaces frozen in time.
The light installation proposes viewers to enter into a place for inner and outer contemplation. Sound plays a key role in this immersive experience, a composition created by an electro acoustic artist Daniel Gomez was conceived as an architecture of sound in which the distance between the sun and the planets creates an structure that take us into a voyage of cosmic sounds, portraying the myths of the planets and their chromatic forces, unfolding the secrets of ancient wisdom related to light and the universe in a series of videos.

SOUND ARCHITECTURE SIDEREAL VIDEO ART
BY DANIEL GOMEZ
“What I have done is to model a solar system in motion. I have created each sound piece from the dynamic distance relations (gravitational force) generated between some of the planets of the system that interested us. With this system in motion, the job was to take advantage of constant change to orchestrate a set of musical instruments based on various methods of audio synthesis. The result is seven pieces with beginning and end of sound systems that could remain in eternal evolution.”
